Our ability to create a plan of action and move forward in a timely fashion depends greatly on the next step. The more relevant information and documentation we initially have at our staff strategy meeting, the better prepared we will be to commence the investigation. We pride ourselves in progressing through information gathering, interviews, electronic surveillance, and building a strong case for you as efficiently as possible.
This is what you can do to help us proceed in a professional, timely manner:
Attempt to gain control of your emotions. The fact that you are experiencing anger, confusion, and frustration will not assist us in establishing the factual basis necessary to decide our approach to seeking the truth. While we are sumpathetic to your feelings, your cooperation in this area will greatly assist us in helping you.
Write out the problem. The more information you can share with us, the better prepared we will be to gain control of your predicament. Start with the basics of who, what, where, when, why, how. If possible, include names and addresses (i.e. work, friends, gas station, places frequently visited.
Decide how you wish to handle the conclusion. In order for us to structure our investigation appropriately, we will need to know what action, if any, you plan to take at the conclusion of the investigation. Possibilities include, but are not limited to, criminal charges, civil suit, administrative hearing, and full restitution.
Have you hired an Attorney? If so, you must inform us if we are to work under his/her direction or if you are to be the sole recipient of our updates and reports.
This is not an appropriate time to tell other you plan to hire an investigative agency. Keep this information to yourself until you have discussed your situation with us in confidence. Do not keep information on you computer pertinent to your situation and be selective regarding which phone line you utilize to converse with us.
After you have supplied us with as much information as possible, we can more accurately discuss the intricacies of your problem and forumulate a plan. At this point we will be prepared to tell you how much we think the investigation will cost as well as other details including where we will be working, what we have to accomplish, how long we predict the investigation will last, and the different types of technical equipment which will be necessary for the job.
Your compliance will be of great benefit to us and of even greater benefit to you. Remember, time is money and knowledge is leverage. Our ability to commence the investigation with an indepth understanding of the people and issues involved will enable us to progress quickly from surveillance, to face to face, interviews, and finally to a successful conclusion.
